Job Summary
Work closely with the Club Manager. Responsible for the general operation of staff functions relating to Food & Beverage Operations, Event Setup & Execution, On Course Service, and Beverage Inventory. This position both supervises and works alongside the staff of these departments. Responsible for operation of all aspects of the clubhouse in the absence of the Club Manager and perform specific tasks as requested by him/her.
Job Tasks (Duties)
1. Manages all aspects of the clubhouse in the absence of the Club Manager
2. Open and Close the facility as needed based on staffing and scheduling
3. Beverage ordering, receiving, and monitoring of product par levels.
4. Monitors internal cost control procedures
5. Assists the Club Manager in developing/implementing policies and procedures for daily club operations
6. Maintains contact with members and helps to assure maximum member satisfaction
7. Receives and resolves complaints from club members, guests and employees
8. Participates in on-going facility inspections throughout the club to assure that cleanliness, safety and other standards are consistently attained.
9. Serves as an ad-hoc member of appropriate club committees
10. Attends management and staff meetings as scheduled.
11. Interacts with members answering questions, solving problems, overseeing services and cleanliness and showing the club facilities to visitors
12. Undertakes special projects as requested by the Club Manager
13. Counsels with other managers and employees about employee grievances and complaints; directs problem correction where possible
14. Monitors labor: evaluates scheduled and actual labor hours and costs
15. Researches new products and develops an analysis of their costs/benefits
16. Oversees club operations on a daily basis
17. Bar tend and serve in all dining areas alongside the F & B staff
18. Set up staff expectations and applies disciplinary measures if standards are not met
19. Open and Close the facility as needed based on staffing and scheduling
20. Completes other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• High School diploma or GED required.
• College degree in the Hospitality field preferred.
• At least three to five years Food and Beverage supervisory experience preferred.
• Must have strong leadership skills.
• Must be able to manage time wisely.
• Must be well organized.
• Computer literacy with proficient skills in Microsoft programs such as Word and Excel.
• Must have the ability to work as a team member
Physical Requirements
• Constant walking and standing.
• Occasional bending, stooping, and reaching.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work in an outdoor environment during seasonal functions.

Locker Room, Housekeeping and F&B employees
Position Classification and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. The assigned hours to this position vary each week according to scheduled functions, but include working on holidays and weekends.
