Pay: $140,000.00 - $205,000.00 per year

Job Description

  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Oversee general ledger operations, financial reporting, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Serve as the technical accounting expert for GAAP, revenue recognition (ASC 606), and cost accounting.
  • Manage annual external audits and maintain year-round audit readiness.
  • Lead accounting policy development, internal controls, and process documentation.
  • Oversee inventory, manufacturing cost accounting, fixed assets, and contract accounting.
  • Partner with operations, finance, and program leadership on financial reporting and contract performance.
  • Play a key leadership role in ERP implementation and accounting system improvements.
  • Develop, mentor, and lead members of the accounting team.
  • Drive automation, efficiency, and continuous process improvements across the finance function.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA or CA designation required.
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition.
  • Manufacturing cost accounting and inventory accounting experience.
  • Experience leading annual financial statement audits.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience using modern ERP systems.
  • Leadership experience managing accounting staff.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • U.S. person status required with ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.
