The Stand is looking for an experienced Assistant Controller to play a critical role in supporting the objectives of the accounting department while assisting in end-of-month close, inventory controls, analysis, and auditing.

Assistant Controller Knowledge Responsibilities

*Ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial reporting

* Working with the operations team to implement financial optimization programs

* Complete a monthly close of the general ledger

* Proactive management of accounts receivable and third-party delivery reconciliations

* Monitoring and managing credit card settlements

* Managing wire transfer requests and subcontractor payments

* Overseeing the management of the cash and bank balances

* Managing an accurate and timely month-end close process

* Management of all monthly posting of accruals and transfers

* Ensuring appropriate retention and management of all documentation

* Active involvement in annual financial audits

* Overseeing the timely collection of accounts receivable

* Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Assistant Controller Skills and Experience

* 5+ years in a Finance/Accounting role

* Operational experience in food and beverage preferred

* A Business Degree is preferred

* High level of computer literacy

* Passion for hospitality and food

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

* Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
