Pay is a minimum of $150 per callout.

Job Purpose and Objectives: Conducts and assists in investigations at the direction of the District Attorney’s office. Position Requirements and Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Shall be screened for a record of criminal activity before job duties are assigned that might expose the candidate to KCJIS-sensitive information.
- Shall be screened for a record of criminal activity and criminal history using a fingerprint-based check within 30 days of initial employment of assignment.
- Knowledge of medical investigative practices and techniques.
- Prior experience in Law Enforcement or Emergency Services is preferable.
- On call work involving nights, weekends, and holidays.
Certifications / Licenses:
- Valid Kansas driver’s license.
- Trained as a death scene investigator by an accredited instructor.
- Certified for CJIS/KCJIS/NCIC.
