$112,000.00-$140,000.00The Assistant Director supports the director in overseeing the operations and goals of the Endoscopy Service Line. The Scope includes MMC, MMV, NYGI, and AEC. They collaborate with the director to coordinate daily activities, ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies, and monitor the achievement of objectives. They directly supervises the Operations Manager and all front end operations. Individuals who can focus on working with several teams to drive day to day change management activities and provide appropriate levels of support and supervision as well as the organizational skills to manage and direct projects.
The role is also responsible for the Colorectal Cancer Prevention Program and the overall development of comprehensive project plans, establishment of key milestones and project goals with operational leads, and management of project teams. The role will oversee the execution of project tasks to ensure achievement of milestones and deadlines. The assistant director is responsible for fostering effective communication between team members & with stakeholders, and ensuring all are aligned with project objectives. The role must identify potential project risks, develop risk mitigation strategies, and proactively address/resolve issues that may impact project timelines and deliverables. Projects include implementation of new systems/software, and response plans, and process improvement.
Education- Bachelor required.
GI, Ambulatory, & inpatient experience strongly preferred.
Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Present data in a clear and concise manner adjust based on audience
- 5 years of supervisory experience required.
- Faculty Practice management experience strongly preferred.
- Strong project management skills - use of Microsoft Visio and Planner a plus
- Strong Microsoft Office experience
- Skilled in reporting and analysis using MS Excel and the ability to identify trends
-Understanding of laws and ethics related to health insurance, medical billing and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
