Job Description - Assistant Director of Human Resources
The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service background in human resources policies, procedures, and practices. The Director will be responsible for recruitment efforts, new hire orientation and onboarding, employee termination, payroll and benefits, and company policy and procedure adherence. In addition, you will build strong relationships with our company's managers to help them with their human resource needs. [No relocation assistance]
Responsibilities Oversee the full cycle of recruitment efforts, including but not limited to working with advanced applicant tracking systems. Develop and oversee new hire orientation, onboarding efforts, and employee termination process. Assist with payroll and benefits administration. Communicate benefits and services programs properly to employees Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and legal Responsibilities Support and drive culture change throughout the locations Encourages employees to utilize improvements through the use of technology Lead retention programs and establish recruitment strategies, training, and placement for employees Assist leadership in educating their staff about employee safety, health, and security Coach Managers on handling HR issues with personnel
Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area Min. of 3 years of HR experience; preferably 2-5 years of Human Resources management experience working in Human Resources Ability to develop a clear, realistic, and actionable vision and provide a results-oriented strategy Ability to use customer service skills to provide an exceptional experience Ability to build, motivate, and lead high-performing team Ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Office Suite Ability to manage projects and assignments from start to completion Ability to adapt to a variety of situations, change, and new learnings Ability to think critically and independently resolve complex problems Collaborate with leadership to develop and publish HR's KPIs and goals in support of key organizational initiatives to drive success Strong interpersonal and communication skills
