Description:

PrimeCare Medical is currently looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to work as the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in the medical department at the Indiana County Jail located in Indiana, Pa. In this role the ADON will assist the Health Services Administrator with managing and evaluating nursing care delivery in accordance with PrimeCare Medical (PCM) philosophy, goals, and objectives. They will also assist with Director of Nursing with the following Administrative and Clinical duties.

The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) is a fast paced position, and as such we must have someone who has the ability to multi-task and has a good grasp of patient assessment skills. In addition, the ADON must be licensed to practice nursing in the state in which the facility is located. Other requirements for the Registered Nurse include:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Minimum of 1 to 3 years management experience of a medical facility.
• Decision making ability required.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Leadership ability required.
• Ability to function independently.
• Demonstrate clinical competency.
