Position Summary:
The Assistant Director of Operations supports the Director of Operations in managing organizational workflows, improving efficiency, and driving cross-department execution through process improvement and AI-enabled automation.
Position Details:
Location: Northbrook, IL
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday on-site.
Compensation: $90,000 - $100,000
Key Responsibilities
Support daily operational oversight across departments
Lead cross-functional initiatives and special projects
Monitor organizational KPIs and operational performance
Identify process inefficiencies and implement solutions
Support leadership in execution of strategic initiatives
Standardize workflows and operational procedures
Coordinate with department leaders to ensure execution alignment
Additional duties as assigned
AI & Automation Requirement
Must implement AI-driven workflow automation across departments
Responsible for identifying operational bottlenecks and automating processes
Expected to build dashboards and AI-assisted reporting systems
Must integrate AI tools into daily operational decision-making and project execution
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
7–10 years of operations or business management experience
3+ years in leadership or project management role
Experience managing cross-functional initiatives
Strong KPI, reporting, and performance management experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Healthcare Admin, or related field
AI Requirement:
Proven experience implementing process automation or AI-driven workflow improvements
Ability to design dashboards and data-driven operational systems
