We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Director of Surgical Services for a leading medical center located in Massachusetts. This is a key leadership role reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), with responsibility for operational oversight and clinical excellence across surgical nursing services.

As the Assistant Director, you will support strategic initiatives, supervise daily operations, and ensure delivery of high-quality, safe, and efficient care. You will be instrumental in guiding staff development, optimizing resource use, and maintaining compliance with best practices and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 24/7 leadership and accountability for assigned surgical units.
• Assist in evaluating and implementing best nursing practices and patient care models.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to drive quality initiatives and improve patient outcomes.
• Serve as a role model and advocate for nursing excellence within the organization.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of hospital experience in the Operating Room.
• At least 2 years of progressive management experience (Manager or Charge Nurse level).
• Academic degree in nursing required; BSN or MSN preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
