Job Summary

The Specialty Construction Estimator position will estimating work primarily in CSI Division 10, along with 6, 8, and 12, including quantity and cost analysis, sales, client relations, and more.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Some travel may be required.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• 
  Responsible for estimating work primarily in CSI Division 10, along with 6, 8, and 12


• 
  Responsible that all quantity and cost analysis expenditures are complete and accurate


• 
  Responsible for sales and maintaining customer/client relations.


• 
  Coordinates and hands off awarded work to project management team


• 
  Requires a skilled professional effective in meeting deadlines and solving problems


• 
  All other job duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities

• Excellent blueprint reading skills with an emphasis on Architectural, Interiors, & Structural


• Experience in estimating phases of all CSI Divisions


• Practical knowledge of commercial construction methods and application of principles


• Strong written and verbal communication skills  


• Excellent organizational and time management skills


• Excellent computer skills, primarily in Microsoft Office suite, Adobe, and take-off software


• Ability to develop and maintain vendor and customer relationships 

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent preferred

Five years experience estimating in commercial construction preferred
