About the Role:

As an Assistant Estimator at Kartchner Commercial Builders, you will be the data and analytics expert on our team, providing precise cost estimates, researching projects, managing rebates, and other administrative duties to ensure financial success of our projects. You’ll prepare contracts, review bids, manage supplier relationships, and maintain clear, accurate records. Your analytical skills will help drive cost efficiency and profitability.

Do You Have What It Takes?

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, business management, data analytics or a related field.

• Proven experience in estimating, purchasing, or a similar role within the construction industry.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and data analytics.

• Detail-oriented with exceptional numerical accuracy.

• A strategic negotiator who can secure competitive pricing without compromising quality. 

• An analytical thinker who can quickly identify cost-saving opportunities.

• Strong communication skills — able to work with team members, suppliers, and subcontractors.
