We are currently seeking a driven, service-focused Assistant Food & Beverage Manager (Banquets) to help lead our banquet operations. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences.
What You’ll Do
As the Assistant F&B Manager, you will support the Banquet Manager in overseeing all banquet operations while ensuring service excellence, team engagement, and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing day-to-day banquet operations, including setup, service, and breakdown
- Supervise and lead banquet staff to ensure exceptional service standards
- Ensure all events are executed efficiently and according to client expectations
- Monitor service quality and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Coordinate closely with the kitchen, catering, and other departments for seamless event execution
- Maintain accurate event details, staffing plans, and communication with the team
- Assist in scheduling, payroll, and tip distribution
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Monitor inventory, equipment, and supply needs; submit requisitions as needed
- Support training, coaching, and performance management of banquet team members
- Participate in Manager on Duty (MOD) coverage as needed
- Maintain a strong presence on the floor during events to ensure guest satisfaction
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
- 2–3+ years of progressive Food & Beverage or Banquet experience in a hotel or similar environment
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of banquet service styles and standards
- Understanding of food safety, liquor laws, and health regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure

Physical & Schedule Requirements
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
