BASIC FUNCTION

To assist the Head Football Coach in the administration and operation of the football program.

NATURE AND SCOPE
The Wide Receivers Coach is responsible for the development, training, and performance of the wide receivers. This role involves teaching fundamental skills, techniques, and strategies essential for defensive players to excel in coverage, tackling, and overall offensive schemes.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Train and mentor WRs in fundamental skills such as mechanics, footwork, decision-making, and reading offenses.
• Create individualized training programs that address the specific needs and strengths of each WR.
• Develop and implement practice plans that focus on improving performance.
• Analyze game film to evaluate WR performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
• Assist in the preparation of game plans, including play selection and situational strategies.
• Utilize video analysis tools to assess quarterback mechanics and decision-making during practices and games.
• Track and analyze individual and team performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Foster a positive and competitive environment that encourages growth and development among WRs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience coaching at the college level, high school level and/or equivalent professional experience
• An understanding of the rules and policies of the NCAA
• Ability to work with diverse individuals and promote an inclusive environment

SALARY RANGE DISCLOSURE: $75,000 - $80,000
