Lyon College invites applications for an assistant coach position in its football program with a start date of immediately. The primary responsibilities include the following: Linebackers coach and game ops for athletics programs. This position will assist in recruiting, practice/game day preparation, and monitoring athlete’s academic progress. This position will understand the rules/policies of NCAA DIII, the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference, and Lyon College. Additional responsibilities include teaching a limited number of physical education courses and other duties as assigned. Applicants with coaching experience at the secondary or post-secondary level are preferred and an understanding of recruiting student athletes at a small, liberal arts college. A bachelor’s degree is required with a preference for a master’s degree.
