The TownePlace Suites Estero/Fort Myers, managed by Essex Hotel Management, is currently seeking a DRIVEN Assistant General Manager.
The Assistant General Manager will assist the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring that all guests receive exceptional service and that the hotel runs smoothly.
Responsibilities:
Assist the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage departments.
Ensure that all guests receive exceptional service and that their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
Manage and train staff to ensure that they are providing excellent customer service and following hotel policies and procedures.
Assist in developing and implementing strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
Monitor and analyze financial reports to ensure that the hotel is meeting its financial goals.
Ensure that the hotel is in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
Assist in developing and implementing marketing and promotional strategies to attract new guests and retain existing ones.
Maintain a positive working relationship with all staff members and departments.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel management.
Strong leadership and management skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage departments.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel management software.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
