4 Rivers Smokehouse is seeking a high-impact restaurant leader to join our Jacksonville market as an Assistant General Manager with a clear path to General Manager.

This role is designed for a proven AGM or experienced GM who wants to operate at a GM level, strengthen an existing restaurant, and be next in line as 4 Rivers continues to grow.

Placement will be at one of our Jacksonville locations (Orange Park or Baymeadows) based on business needs.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as the second-in-command, partnering closely with the General Manager to lead daily operations
• Operate at a GM level — overseeing both front- and back-of-house performance, standards, and results
• Support in-house catering by helping plan and execute production in the kitchen
• Develop, coach, and strengthen the management team and hourly staff
• Drive operational excellence across labor, food cost, inventory, and guest experience
• Provide leadership coverage during vacations, peak periods, and special initiatives
• Help stabilize, grow, and strengthen the restaurant as part of our long-term Jacksonville strategy
• Step into full General Manager responsibilities when needed
• Position yourself as the next GM-ready leader as new opportunities arise

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a General Manager or high-performing Assistant General Manager in a high-volume restaurant
• GM-level leadership capability with the ability to take full operational ownership
• Strong financial and operational acumen
• Hands-on leadership style — willing to jump in wherever needed
• Experience in both FOH and BOH environments
• Passion for developing people and building strong teams
• Comfort with restaurant systems and performance metrics (Restaurant365, Schoox LMS, etc. a plus)
