Assistant General Manager - Exciting Challenge

We are seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager FOM to join our team at the Hampton Inn Bulverde. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring that all guests receive exceptional service and that the hotel is running efficiently.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Assist the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage departments.
• Ensure that all guests receive exceptional service and that needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
• Manage and train staff to ensure that they are providing excellent customer service and following hotel policies and procedures.
• Assist in developing and implementing strategies to increase revenue and occupancy rates.
• Monitor and analyze financial reports to ensure that the hotel is operating within budget.
• Ensure that the hotel complies with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist in developing and implementing marketing and promotional strategies to increase brand awareness and attract new guests.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel management, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage departments. - Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel management software.
