As a member of the Academic Council and the Academic Administrative Team, the AHFSD contributes to strategic academic leadership across the school. In coordination with the Headmaster, the role also supports the development and supervision of faculty and staff remediation plans, ensuring accountability while maintaining a commitment to growth and formation.

Top candidates will also possess experience with and training in project-based learning, standards-based grading, and other equitable grading and assessment practices that support student growth and authentic learning. Experience with and knowledge of the spirituality of St. Ignatius and Ignatian Pedagogy are equally essential for success in this role. Candidates will be willing and able to support the school's mission of building young men who are religious, loving, and academically competent, open to growth, and committed to doing justice.

Gonzaga College High School is committed to leadership in multicultural education and a culturally diverse faculty and staff. The school therefore seeks applications from candidates who will contribute to an atmosphere in which all are valued and supported. The salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $150,000 per year, depending on education, experience, and qualifications. Gonzaga also offers a comprehensive benefits program including healthcare (medical, dental, and vision), life and disability insurance, generous 403b retirement contribution, commuter reimbursements, as well as, other notable benefits
