Horne Kia in Gilbert is looking for an experienced Assistant Internet Director to join our high-performing sales team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced automotive Internet Sales professional who understands how to manage Internet leads, close digital customers, desk deals, coach salespeople, and drive results in a high-volume dealership environment.

AUTOMOTIVE DEALERSHIP EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.

CDK EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.

COMPENSATION

$12,000–$14,000 PER MONTH

This position offers strong earning potential for an experienced automotive Internet sales professional who can drive appointments, conversions, gross, and overall department performance.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Assist in leading and managing the dealership's Internet sales department
  

• Manage Internet leads from initial inquiry through appointment, showroom visit, and sale
  

• Monitor lead response times, appointment activity, show rates, and closing ratios
  

• Follow up with Internet customers through phone, text, email, and other digital channels
  

• Desk and structure automotive deals while working closely with sales management
  

• Work with sales consultants to maximize Internet lead opportunities
  

• Coach and motivate Internet/BDC team members to achieve performance goals
  

• Help develop effective follow-up strategies and sales processes
  

• Monitor CRM activity and ensure leads are properly documented and followed up
  

• Utilize VINSolutions to manage customer relationships, lead activity, appointments, and follow-up
  

• Utilize CDK and dealership systems to support sales and deal processes
  

• Review Internet sales performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  

• Work with sales management on pricing, inventory, promotions, and customer offers
  

• Assist with closing customers and overcoming objections
  

• Maintain a high level of customer service throughout the online and in-store buying process
  

• Help ensure the Internet department meets or exceeds monthly sales and appointment goals
  

• Support the Internet Director and General Sales Manager with department operations and special projects
  

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Previous automotive dealership experience REQUIRED
  

• Previous Internet/BDC sales management experience strongly preferred
  

• Desking experience REQUIRED
  

• CDK experience REQUIRED
  

• VINSolutions experience REQUIRED
  

• Proven track record of automotive sales success
  

• Strong understanding of Internet leads, BDC processes, appointments, and lead conversion
  

• Ability to effectively structure and desk automotive deals
  

• Strong knowledge of automotive sales processes and dealership operations
  

• Experience coaching, training, or managing sales/Internet personnel
  

• Strong closing, negotiation, and objection-handling skills
  

• Excellent communication and customer relationship skills
  

• Highly organized with strong follow-up and time-management abilities
  

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume dealership environment
  

• Strong understanding of CRM processes and Internet lead management
  

• Ability to analyze department performance and hold team members accountable
