Job Summary

The Logistics Assistant is responsible for supporting all aspects of freight management and ticket controls as it relates to all Bulk and Flatbed deliveries. 

Job Responsibilities

• Comunícate appropriate product pick-up and delivery requirements as needed


• Assist Manager with Customer service issues. 


• Reconcilie Carrier Invoices. Identify payment errors or additional charges owed.


• Reviewing freight payments in SAP and making any neccesary changes including the adding additional charges.


• Maintaining multiple spreadsheets and logs


• Research ticketing and delivery issues in SAP.


• Processing and entering Clinker transfer


• Must comply with Company safety rules and regulations


• ar proper safety equipment while on plant grounds


• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in logistics (load planning and dispatch)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of SAP


• Knowledge of Microsoft office with a focus on Excel


• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and ability to interact with all levels of end-users 


• Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, ability to work independently, manage multiple projects/responsibilities


• Proven team player with the ability to lead, guide and influence cross-functional teams.

Working Conditions

• Some exposure to dust, noise, and extreme temperatures

Physical Requirements

• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking
