This position is responsible for providing capacity solutions to move customer’s loads using the Werner network of qualified alliance carriers meeting customer service requirements and maintaining profitability to Werner Enterprises.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The job functions listed below represent the essential job duties and responsibilities of the above-listed position.

• Provide capacity solutions on freight assigned to the specific office.
• Find solutions for overflow freight from other office on an as needed basis.
• Develop relationships with outside carriers that will provide consistent Capacity to support our needs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.

• Knowledge of transportation industry and terminology.
• Skill in operating a P.C., including use of Internet and Intranet applications required.
• Posses outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
• Posses strong decision-making skills and the ability to work independently.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Working knowledge of transportation industry.
• Logistics experience preferred.
• Spanish
