Assistant Maitre D' - MUJO

Mujo is a tasting menu only, fine dining omakase concept in West Midtown. In addition to our 15 seat sushi bar, we feature an intimate 6 seat cocktail bar and 6 seat private dining room. We are looking for an Assistant Matire D' and Server Assistant to join our team!

The Assistant Maitre D'/Server Assistant at Mujo is responsible for greeting & welcoming guests, executing a tasting menu with pairings, and coordinating & overseeing service with our team.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

3+ years in the hospitality industry;
Knowledge of Sake preferred, but not required;
Experience in fine dining restaurants and service;
Upscale sushi experience preferred, but not required;
Ability to communicate and work in English; additional languages beneficial;
Professional appearance, care and grooming;

Physical Demands

Required to bend, stretch, twist, climb and have a high level of mobility/flexibility in small spaces

Required to stand and walk for extensive periods of time without breaks during busy times

Required to be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds without assistance
