We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the food industry, with experience in both casual and fine dining environments.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and quality service.

Supervise staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.

Oversee food preparation processes to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.

Ensure compliance with health regulations and food safety standards.

Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Collaborate with the management team on budgeting and financial planning.

Assist in menu planning and food production for special events or catering services.

Support staff development through training programs focused on culinary skills, hospitality management, and customer service.

Qualifications

Previous experience in restaurant management or as an assistant manager is required.

Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen management.

Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team management and staff training & development.

Ability to manage inventory effectively while ensuring cost control measures are met.

Strong customer service skills with a commitment to enhancing the guest experience.

Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations within the food industry.

Experience in budgeting and financial oversight within a restaurant setting is beneficial.

Pay

$55,000 - $65,000 + Bonuses.
