Assistant Manager

We are currently looking for an Assistant General Manager to join our team at Davenport's Pizza Palace!

Restaurant Manager Responsibilities:

• Assist with the hiring process by working alongside the GM to source, interview, hire and train qualified candidates
• Assist with placing product orders
• Manage daily operations effectively with a focus on customer service
• Ensure pizzas are prepared quickly and consistently to our specifications
• Assist with posting the schedule each week and holding employees accountable to their shifts
• Communicate with customers to ensure a pleasant experience and be able to resolve any potential issues to keep customers happy
• Become proficient with all aspects of our POS system
• Analyze sales reports, manage labor and food costs as a percentage of sales

Restaurant Manager Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience as an Assistant General Manager required
• Solid understanding of P&L, food and labor costs
• Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to work autonomously to solve problems
• Knowledge of Food Safety standards
• Hands-on Leadership
• Excellent communication
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
