Assistant Manager

About Us:

We are a busy, high-volume pizzeria known for our quality food, fast service, and exceptional customer experience. We're looking for a dedicated, experienced, and hands-on Assistant Manager to help lead our team and ensure smooth day-to-day operations in a fast-paced environment.

Position Summary:

The Assistant Manager will support the General Manager in running all aspects of the restaurant, with a focus on operational excellence, team leadership, customer satisfaction, and adherence to company standards. This is a dynamic role that requires a strong leader who can thrive under pressure while maintaining a positive and productive atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead staff during shifts to ensure efficiency and consistency in food preparation, service, and cleanliness.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve guest issues promptly and professionally.
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards (must be ServeSafe certified).
• Enforce compliance with company policies, procedures, and product specifications.
• Assist in scheduling, training, and mentoring team members.
• Monitor inventory, manage waste, and assist with ordering supplies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
• Step into any role as needed to support the team and meet business demands.
• Opening and closing a store  
• Fulfilling orders and providing consistently exceptional customer experiences  
• Supervising and monitoring Team Members and Shift Leaders  
• Daily inventory, labor, and food cost management  

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience managing a pizzeria or similar fast-paced food service operation.
• Current ServeSafe Certification is required.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Outstanding customer service and conflict resolution abilities.
• Ability to follow procedures, recipes, and operational standards without deviation.
• Comfortable working in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and flexible with availability (nights, weekends, holidays).
