Position Overview

We’re looking for a motivated and hands-on Assistant Manager to join our Smithfield team. The ideal candidate has restaurant management or shift leader experience, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys working alongside a team to create great customer experiences. This role supports the General Manager with daily operations, staff leadership, and ensuring consistent quality of service and food.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including opening/closing procedures
  • Supervise and support front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve guest concerns promptly. 
  • Oversee cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations. 
  • Assist with scheduling, training, and coaching staff to ensure strong performance. 
  • Monitor inventory, supplies, and ordering as needed. 
  • Support special events, promotions, and catering operations.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in restaurant management, supervision, or shift leadership preferred. 
  • Strong communication and leadership skills. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. 
  • Reliable, professional, and committed to excellent service. 
  • Must be available for evening and weekend shifts.
