As an Assistant Manager, you'll help steer daily restaurant operations so guests leave happy, standards stay tight, and the shift runs like it's got a playlist and a plan. You'll back up the General Manager by keeping people, food, and processes moving in the right direction.
Key responsibilities include completing required training (Assistant Manager Development Plan, Basic Operations Training, Food Safety Certification, Manager Certification, and any additional required programs); protecting guest experience through consistent service, product quality, and cleanliness; coaching and developing team members, supervising shifts, assigning tasks, adjusting staffing, and supporting performance reviews/discipline; and maintaining compliance with franchise policies plus federal, state, and local laws, records, and safety/risk reporting.
Qualifications:
- 18+ with valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation
- Available 40+ hours/week (days/nights/weekends/holidays)
- Strong leadership, organization, and people skills; prior leadership preferred
- Able to stand/walk long periods and lift/carry up to 50 lbs; comfortable around kitchen equipment, varying temps, and allergens

Successful Assistant Managers possess strong communication skills, leadership ability, attention to detail, and the desire to build a career in restaurant management. Previous experience as an Assistant Manager, Shift Manager, Shift Leader, Restaurant Manager, Team Leader, or Supervisor is preferred. Experience in quick-service restaurants, fast food, hospitality, retail management, or food service leadership is highly valued.
