Assistant Manager - RoadDog - Willshire, OH

The RoadDog Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store. This role helps maintain a clean, organized, and customer-focused environment that reflects company standards. Responsibilities include assisting with store operations, supporting and guiding team members, helping drive fuel and merchandise sales, processing customer transactions, and ensuring excellent customer service is always a top priority. This position requires someone who works well as part of a team while also being able to work independently.  

Responsibilities: 

• Assist in overseeing the responsibilities of all associates store in accordance with company policy and procedures, to maximize store profits
• Assist in the managing of associates’ hours to the set schedule and store operation budget.
• Assist in the training, motivating, and mentoring store associates
• Assist in building an atmosphere that demonstrates pride in teamwork and in serving the customer
• Responsible for safeguarding the store, cash, and inventory control
• Ensure the cleanliness of the interior and exterior of the facility
• Assist with required paperwork accurately and timely as per company standards
• Assist with all other store tasks and activities assigned by the Store Manager in a prompt, cooperative, and enthusiastic manner

• Preferred minimum of 2 years in the convenience store or retail industry
• Preferred minimum of 1 year of management experience
• Strong work ethic and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to changing work environments
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule
• Ability to operate computer programs to complete associate and management tasks
