You'll learn the ins and outs of our bustling public markets, help our vendors thrive, and play a key role in bringing our community together.

What You'll Do

This is a hands-on role where you'll be in the thick of the action, working from event setup to cleanup.

• Be a Market Leader: You'll be a friendly, knowledgeable face for our vendors, confidently enforcing market policies and making on-the-spot decisions at our events.


• Get Your Hands Dirty: You'll handle many physical aspects of event setup and breakdown, from arranging tents and merchandise to managing audio equipment.


• Mentor and Manage: You might be asked to lead a small crew, delegating tasks and ensuring everything runs smoothly.


• Build Relationships: You'll be a point of contact for our vendors, suppliers, and occasionally corporate sponsors, fostering positive relationships with everyone who makes our market special.


• Handle the Details: When we're not at an event, you'll tackle crucial administrative tasks from home: light accounting, calendar management, and using our software to keep things organized.

**Good To Know** - We hold events all year long, 7 days/week and many evenings as well. You’ll need to have willingness and flexibility to adjust your weekly schedule to meet our ever- changing needs. Much of the schedule involves weekend and holiday work. Flexibility is key... Our work ethic is “Work Hard, Play Hard”. You’ll have the opportunity to be involved in some of Chattanooga’s liveliest events, including Chattanooga Oktoberfest. **Nitty-Gritty** - We do have some physical requirements because of the variability in nature of this position. Moderate physical strength is required; the ability to navigate stairs, lift and carry packages or materials up to 50 lbs and work extended hours in an active, and often, outdoor environment.
