Job Description - Assistant Marketing Manager - Operational Social Media - Local

Summary: Assistant Marketing Manager - Operational Social Media supports the execution of DHC USA’s influencer, content, and social marketing operations. This role is responsible for managing product seeding logistics, creator outreach coordination, sample inventory, and marketing support activities that enable the Social & Growth team to operate efficiently.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


Influencer Seeding & Logistics



  • Ownership of the picking/packing/shipping process for influencer seeding packages in alignment with campaign timelines

  • Track shipments, deliveries, and creator confirmations

  • Maintain accurate seeding records and tracking systems



Sample & Asset Inventory Management



  • Procurement of assets as needed

  • Maintain inventory of marketing samples and materials

  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment

  • Ensure organization and accuracy of inventory records



Creator Outreach Support



  • Assist with influencer outreach and communication logistics directly or indirectly using tools/partners

  • Confirm shipping details and manage follow-ups

  • Maintain outreach tracking and response logs



Content Capture Support



  • Content creation as needed

  • Upload and organize content in shared systems

  • Support content preparation for social use



Marketing Operations Support



  • Assist with product handling, shipping, and event preparation

  • Maintain marketing supplies and packaging materials

  • Support general marketing administrative tasks

Education



  • High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 0–2+ years of experience in marketing, logistics, retail, or administrative roles

  • Experience in influencer marketing, shipping/logistics, or content support preferred

  • Interest in beauty, skincare, or consumer products preferred

Ability to read, write and speak Japanese preferred but not required.

Computer Skills


 To perform this job successfully, an individual must demonstrate proficiency with Office 365 tools, search engines, Company communication tools, and Company WMS systems. Advanced Excel skills are required. SQL skills are preferred.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.


 


On occasion, may need to enter the warehouse environment where the employee can be exposed to moving mechanical parts and the noise level is usually loud. Safety equipment is available such as earplugs, dust masks, work belts, and First-Aid.
