As a Federally Qualified Health Center with a focus on integrated, primary care, we believe that every human has the right to access whole health. We have locations in Amherst, Huntington, and Worthington, as well as a school-based health center at Gateway Regional Middle/High School in Huntington.  

A day in the life of this role: 

Clinical Oversight and Patient Care 

  • Assist in managing clinical workflows and protocols to ensure efficient patient flow and care. 
  • Serve as a clinical resource for medical staff, providing guidance and support on complex cases. 

Leadership and Staff Support 

  • Assist the Medical Director in supervising and supporting clinical staff, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers. 
  • Facilitate positive communication and collaboration among medical, administrative, and support staff. 
  • Conduct and oversee staff training and development programs to promote quality care and compliance with best practices.
  • Serve as a mentor to clinical staff, in both official and modeling capacity. 

Quality Assurance and Improvement 

  • Monitor and analyze patient care metrics to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements. 
  • Identify areas for improvement within clinical operations and develop initiatives to address gaps in care or service delivery. 
  • Participate in or lead quality improvement initiatives focused on patient safety, care efficiency, and satisfaction. 
  • Assist in developing and overseeing medical privileging; ensuring all clinical practices and procedures comply with local, state, and federal regulations. 
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulatory changes, providing guidance to staff as needed. 
  • Assist in preparing for and participating in regulatory audits and accreditation processes. 

Operational Management 

  • Collaborate with the Medical Director to manage resources effectively. 
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of clinical operations. 
  • In conjunction with the medical director and operational staff assist scheduling of clinical staff to maintain adequate coverage and support patient care needs. 

Community and Patient Relations 

  • Foster a positive relationship with patients and their families, addressing any questions or concerns related to care. 
  • Represent the healthcare facility in community outreach programs and educational events, as required. 
  • Support initiatives to improve patient satisfaction and engagement.

Requirements

What we need from you:  

  • A minimum of a licensed provider and be actively involved in clinical care at Hilltown Community Health Center. 
  • Must be well-organized, possess good analytical and problem-solving skills and able to work independently. 
  • Must have excellent communication and management skills and be able to work as a productive member of a team. 

Location:  Huntington, Worthington, Amherst MA (The clinical care is provided at one of our three sites: Amherst, Huntington, or Worthington)

Hours:  20-40 hours/week ( opportunity for weekly 4-day compressed work schedule or a 5-day schedule with remote work 1 day per week)

Pay Range:  $135,000 - $205,000
