Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Merchandiser to drive growth across Marni North America. This role combines analytical expertise with merchandising acumen to elevate our full-price business, helping shape assortment strategy and manage product lifecycles while achieving division financial targets.

Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive weekly sales analysis and performance tracking


• Identify market trends and growth opportunities


• Manage assortment planning tools


• Drive data-driven decisions for business optimization


• Support full-cycle buying process from concept to execution


• Maintain detailed assortment documentation


• Process markdown strategies and reorder recommendations


• Collaborate with Digital, Marketing, and Visual Merchandising teams


• Partner with Retail teams on store-specific strategies


• Support Global Merchandising initiatives


• Participate actively during market campaigns


• Process and track shipments/orders following up on deliveries to stores


• Support development of buying strategies


• Assist with line planning and assortment building

Required Qualifications

• Prefer 2+ years in Retail Buying or Merchandising


• Bachelor's Degree


• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency


• Strong analytical capabilities


• Hybrid role - NYC office presence 4 days weekly

Salary Range: $69-$73k
