Position Summary:  Under the supervision of the Parts Manager, Assists in the day to day operation of the Branch's Parts Department incompliance with established policies and procedures.  Maintains the highest quality standards of professionalism in serving the customer and identifying their needs. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

·         Insures effective warehouse performance and maintains inventory control of parts which includes monitoring cycle counts, accuracy of orders picked and shipped, proper placement of parts into inventory and warehouse equipment.

·         Promotes safe work habits and ensures that safety rules are followed.

·         Works with Parts Manager and Director to supervise and coordinate annual inventory counts.

·         Works with parts manager to ensure that approved parts/warehouse policies and procedures are followed.

·         Responsible for training all parts personnel

·         Organizes obsolete parts return

·         Promotes safe work habits and ensure that safety rules are followed throughout the entire parts department and in particular warehouse personnel

·         Assists in total parts department operations in the absence of parts manager.

•Supervises all warehouse personnel which includes interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
