Assistant Parts Manager

Overview

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team at Max Motors Dealerships in a dynamic role focused on parts management. This position is pivotal in supporting our service and sales teams by ensuring the availability and management of automotive parts.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the parts department operations, ensuring efficient workflow.
• Maintain inventory levels, including ordering and restocking parts as necessary.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients with parts inquiries and transactions.
• Collaborate with service technicians to fulfil parts requests effectively.
• Ensure the proper organization and cleanliness of the parts department.
• Monitor and report on parts sales, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a parts management or similar role within the automotive industry.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.

Nice to have

• ASE certification or similar automotive qualifications.
• Experience with customer relationship management software.
• Knowledge of automotive parts and their applications.
