Job Description - Assistant Pre-Kindergarten Teacher

About the Role:

Join our vibrant team at Primrose School of Brookstone as an Assistant Pre-Kindergarten Teacher! Here, you will play a crucial role in nurturing young minds and fostering a love for learning in a supportive and engaging environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist the lead teacher in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.

Support the development of children's social, emotional, and cognitive skills.

Supervise and engage with children during playtime and classroom activities.

Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment conducive to learning.

Communicate effectively with parents about children's progress and daily activities.

Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Encourage positive behavior and resolve conflicts among children.

Assist with administrative tasks, including lesson documentation and attendance tracking.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Passion for teaching and nurturing young children.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Basic knowledge of child development principles.

CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Background check clearance as required by state regulations.
