Role Summary:
Do you have a passion to assist and inspire pre-school and pre-kindergarten children 3-5 years of age?  We are currently seeking caring and committed individuals to join our experienced team at MYDC’s Training Wheels Child Care Center. 

We are currently looking to hire an Assistant Teacher/Education Assistant to support teachers with curriculum planning, supervision, teaching and caring for children. 

Teaching Assistant Position Details: 

• Part-time, Monday thru -Friday, 1PM-6PM
• 20 to 30 hours per week available

• Provide daily supervision and safe care for children 

• Ensure direct care needs of the children are met

• Follow outlined schedules and procedures 

• Assist with lesson plans based on Training Wheels curriculum 

• Provide detailed documentation and communication regarding daily activities 

• Minimum HS Diploma or GED required 

• Documentation of 2,500 hours (2 years) working with children in a professional capacity. 

• Valid Driver’s License 

• Obtain Valid Background Checks 

• Pre-Employment Physical & TB Test 

• Must be 18 years of age
