Position Description
The Assistant Press Officer (APO) supports the Women’s National Team (WNT) Communications Department by assisting with media relations, public relations, and content production activities. This role plays a key part in managing media operations, producing key materials for matches and events, and supporting storytelling efforts across multiple platforms. The APO will work closely with the Director of Communications/Press Officer and other departments to promote the team, facilitate interviews, and contribute to the broader organizational goals of U.S. Soccer.
This is a full-time role requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week, with significant weekend work and extensive travel, both domestically and internationally.
