Job Description: As an Assistant Production Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes during the 2nd shift. You will work closely with the Production Supervisor to oversee a team of production workers, maintain quality standards, and meet production targets. Your attention to detail, leadership skills, and ability to troubleshoot issues will be essential in driving our success.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Production Supervisor in managing day-to-day production activities on the 2nd shift.
• Supervise and provide guidance to production team members, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust staffing levels as needed to meet production goals.
• Train new employees on production processes and procedures.
• Identify and address any issues or bottlenecks that may arise during production.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and quality control, to ensure smooth operations.
• Complete production reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Flexibility to work 2nd shift hours (2:15pm - 10:15pm) and occasional overtime as needed.
