This position requires a formal degree in the cited discipline area(s) to ensure that candidates have the foundational knowledge and skill set required to perform the duties of the position. The level of degree is based on accreditation requirements, institutional standards of academic and professional excellence, alignment with peer institution benchmarks, and contributes to the credibility and effectiveness of the role within the university community.
Work Experience:
One to five years of experience or training in ACHD.
Manage the patient with ACHD and have appropriate advanced imaging skills for diagnosis and treatment.
Education: Accredited two-year Fellowship in Adult Congenital Heart Disease, ABIM Boarded in ACHD, ABIM Boards in Cardiac Ultrasound, and Boards in Advanced Imaging
Manage the ACHD population in the acute and ambulatory settings.
Provide in-patient rounding services to the Cardiovascular Department.
Provide imaging and advanced imaging services to diagnose and treat the ACHD and general cardiology population.
Provide night and weekend call services similar to other Non-Invasive Cardiologists.
