Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects under the guidance of senior project management staff. Responsibilities:
Assist in the coordination and management of construction projects from inception to completion.
Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation activities.
Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or issues, implementing proactive solutions as needed.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, and progress reports.
Assist in conducting site inspections and quality control assessments to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with the project team to foster a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork on-site.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction project management or related roles.
Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Primavera).
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
30-hour OSHA certification.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities and a proactive approach to project management.
