A commercial general contractor in North Carolina building commercial and school projects, including construction-manager-at-risk (CMAR) K-12 work.

MUST HAVES

• 3 to 6 years of commercial construction experience
  
• CMAR and K-12 project experience is a strong plus
  
• Organized and detail-driven, comfortable with Procore-style document control
  
• Lives within commuting distance of Raleigh-Durham
  

The role

You'll support the project manager on commercial and school projects, owning the paperwork that keeps a job moving: submittals, RFIs, logs, schedules and closeout documents, with regular time in the field.

What you'll do

• Prepare, track and log submittals and RFIs, and keep document control current
  
• Help build and update the project schedule
  
• Run meeting agendas and minutes
  
• Build O&M, spare parts and testing spreadsheets for closeout
  
• Check that subcontractors build to the drawings and specs, and help price change orders
  
• Walk punch lists before and after owner and architect inspections
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field
  
• 3 to 6 years of commercial construction experience
  
• Able to pass a background check and drug screen
