Assistant Property Manager

West Coast Self-Storage Group has a full-time opening in Indio, CA. for Assistant Property Manager.  

We are looking for an experienced RV enthusiast with extensive, hands-on knowledge of recreational vehicles. The ideal candidate understands all aspects of RV care and maintenance, including proper storage procedures, battery and fluid management, tire pressure checks, and generator hookups. Whether it's preparing an RV for long-term storage or getting one road-ready, you know exactly what it takes to keep these vehicles in top condition. 

This position will be going between two properties: IndioPalms RV and Palm Springs

Day to Day:

• Show available RV Spaces, discuss our offered premium RV services  and guide customers through the leasing process
• Meet retail sales and occupancy objectives
• Provide exceptional customer service including assessing customers storage needs (in person, phone and web inquiries)
• Manage, audit and balance cash drawer and petty cash
• General office tasks, e.g., filing, managing customer accounts, sorting mail/deliveries
• Maintain property to West Coast’s Clean & Operational standards, e.g., cleaning vacated units, sweeping, mopping, changing light bulbs
• Other duties assigned by leadership

What You Will Bring:

• Strong Knowledge about RV's, including battery level checks, fluid level checks, tire pressure checks, and hooking up generators to RV's
• Ability to self-manage while working independently to complete team and company objectives
• Ability to work weekends and some holidays (required)
• Basic computer skills and working knowledge MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
