Assistant Service Manager

The Assistant Service Manager orchestrates a profitable service department by building and leading a team of Technicians to a productive and motivated working environment, manage customer relations and retention, control cost, and set achievable goals to further the success of your team. Pliler International is one of the region's premier Commercial Truck Sales & Leasing Dealerships, proudly serving NE Texas and surrounding areas for many years. Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee the annual operational budget for the service department.

• Employ suitable reporting and tracking systems to oversee and regulate departmental performance.

• Supervise technicians' daily productivity reports and associated payroll records.

• Cultivate and sustain positive working relations with customers to foster repeat and referral business.

• Foster and uphold positive working partnerships with vocational and technical schools to improve personnel recruitment efforts. 

• Institute and uphold a 72-hour follow-up with customers to validate satisfaction with the service.

• Manage reporting systems as mandated by general management and corporate personnel.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma.

• Two years’ service department experience in a commercial dealership environment.

• Valid Commercial Driver License
