Your Responsibility

  • In this role, you will be a vital right hand to the Vice President & Manager, helping to oversee daily operations, technical services, customer support, and team performance across all areas of the propane business.

  • You will be responsible for supervising personnel, supporting hiring, training, and performance management efforts that align with safety, service, and profitability goals.

  • You will perform and oversee fieldwork including propane installations, appliance servicing, vehicle inspections, and grounds maintenance.

  • You will be responsible for administrative and financial functions such as budget development, inventory control, and customer account management.

  • You will contribute to safety compliance by helping ensure all DOT, OSHA, and environmental regulations are consistently followed.

  • You will communicate directly with customers, providing knowledgeable guidance on service needs, tank sizing, appliance installation, and propane system safety.

  • You will serve as a versatile team leader—one who can support route operations, troubleshoot field issues, and drive strategic improvements in service quality and cost control.

Job requirements

What We Are Looking For

  • In this position, you will have a strong working knowledge of propane systems, appliances, and industry regulations, including a Class B CDL with hazardous materials, air brake, and tank endorsements (or ability to obtain).

  • You will be responsible for field and business operations, ideally in a utility, propane, or energy-related setting.

  • You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead teams, support customers, and coordinate across departments.

  • You will be detail-oriented and capable of juggling multiple priorities including service coordination, budgeting, inventory, and compliance tracking.

  • You will be committed to safety, reliability, and continuous improvement—and ready to grow into a future leadership role within our company.

  • You will have a college degree (preferred) or relevant industry experience combined with education and technical certification in business, engineering, or leadership.
