Assistant Store Manager

Accountable to:  Store Manager

Status: Full Time; Non-Exempt

Purpose:   To assist in providing leadership and management to the store

Working Conditions/Physical Factors: Occasionally= 1-33% Frequently= 34-66% Continuously= 67%-100%    

·         Lifting (under 25lbs)- Frequently

·         Bending/Reaching/Grabbing- Frequently

Duties:

·         Assist manager in store operations and supervising staff ensuring policy and procedures are being followed.  

·         Assist manager in overseeing the display of merchandise throughout the store.

·         Assist in resolving customer complaints and returns.

·         Assist in cash register operations during busy times or to provide adequate coverage.

·         Assist in opening and closing the store as instructed.

·         Be alert for shoplifting and follow Shoplifting Policy.

·         Be a part of staff meetings and team building.

·       Other duties as assigned.
