Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing retail store strategies that enhance the customer experience and drive sales. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for retail and customer excellence

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Support team members (e.g., leading by example and coaching) to ensure a great guest experience, including assessing guest needs, providing  product educations, and supporting in-store transactions.


• 
  Dynamically provide coverage on the floor to assess and fulfill the needs of the business, team, and guests.


• 
  Resolve guest feedback and address emergent issues, including guest escalations and emergency requests, helping to “make it right” for guests.


• 
  Assist with the development and management all aspects of performance development (Performance Appraisals, Individual Development Plans, Coaching, Counseling and Disciplinary actions) for a productive, inspired and successful workforce.


• 
  Lead by example and inspire a shared vision by communicating store and company goals


• 
  Assist and participate with the roll-out of all new training and operational initiatives


• 
  Manage and motivate the store teams to achieve an unimagined level of customer care


• 
  In the absence of the Store Manager conduct walkthroughs with the Visual Manager and Department Managers on a regular basis, with constructive feedback and obtainable goals


• 
  Guide the team to perform all store-level operational procedures accurately and in a timely fashion, in accordance with all Company policies and procedures


• 
  Ensure all new merchandise is restocked promptly. The sales floor is fully replenished, and product standards adhered to.


• 
  Possess excellent organizational skills and have the ability to plan and execute projects by priority


• 
  Coach others to understand and generate creative solutions


• 
  Assist the Store Manager to maximize store sales through analyzing relevant reports, market trends and creative management of merchandise.


• 
  Exhibit a sound understanding of the store's profitability, and guide team members to utilize company reports to react to trends and drive business

Requirements:

• 
  Strong understanding of retail merchandising principles and customer behavior.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Proficient in visual merchandising

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and customer insights.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.

-At least two consecutive years of retail experience

-Ability to work within a team towards a common goal

-Proven ability to receive and integrate feedback

-A self-starting attitude and interest in pursuing constant improvement
