We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Store Manager to train in preparation for supporting one of our Retail Rebel locations across the Midwest. This training program will begin at the Company Headquarters located in Liberty Missouri and will provide hands-on experience in daily operations, leadership development, and our unique business model. The ideal candidate must be flexible, driven, and willing to relocate if necessary to meet business needs. Upon successful completion of training, placement will be determined based on operational requirements at one of our Midwest locations. 

Starting Annual Salary:  $45,000

Key Responsibilities: 

As an Assistant Store Manager, your day-to-day duties may include and are not limited to the following: 

  • Implements and enforces all company policies and procedures. 
  • Completes daily opening/closing procedures. 
  • Assists the Store Manager to create action plans based on the data of KPI´s (Key Performance Indicators). 
  • Assigns and tracks daily goals. 
  • Utilizes tools and training guides to coach the team and hold themselves and team accountable. 
  • Actively coaches team members, provides feedback, builds relationships, and motivates them to accomplish daily goals. 
  • Consistently supervises the floor to ensure customer engagement and efficiency in processes. 
  • Communicates all business, store and maintenance needs to the Store Manager/District Manager in a timely manner. 
  • Ensures company merchandising standards are met daily. 
  • Assists in the hiring and selecting of team members. 
  • Ensures employee schedules meet the needs of the business. 
  • Ensure in demand products are stocked in a timely manner. 
  • Plans and executes daily huddles to communicate important information to the team. 
  • Evaluates team performance and provides immediate coaching. 
  • Provides quality feedback to deliver our Pay for Performance Program. 
  • Executes and ensures all safety standards are met for customers and employees. 
  • Ensures all forklift safety is in compliance with drivers in warehouse (safety training provided). 
  • Ensures the store is kept clean and maintained daily. 

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of consecutive management/leadership experience. 
  • Basic computer skills. 
  • Ability to use and manage spreadsheets preferred. 
  • Time management. 
  • The ability to manage physical tasks, such as lifting, reaching, standing, bending, and lifting products up to 40 pounds for prolonged periods of time, and staying active throughout your shift. 

Education and Experience:  

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. 
  • Previous retail leadership experience preferred. 
  • Retail management preferred.
