We are a local family business that has been operating in the islands for 39 years and employ about 170 employees.  The Art Source, Inc. is the parent company to our three sister companies - Pictures Plus, Plus Interiors & CocoNene.  Our core competency as a business is local manufacturing of customizable products for the home: artwork, interior furniture & home decor.  We make all the products in our factory on the west side of Oahu in Kapolei and we sell to our customers through our various retail locations on Oahu, Maui and the Big Island. We are hiring for our Kings' Shops location in Waikoloa. We are looking for a full-time positive, driven, upbeat, & people-centric Assistant Store Manager. This means providing unmatched customer service, selling our fun, unique and Hawaii-made gifts/souvenirs to visitors from all over the world, imparting our own unique Hawaii stories with clients and helping to lead & grow the Team and store performance. Pay is $50-55K salary (this includes a base plus incentive).  Full-time employees are eligible for full benefits that include: medical insurance, 401k, paid time off and an employee discount (25% across all sister brands). Day-to-day responsibilities:

- Exceptional guest experience

- Achieve individual sales

- Support Store Manager with

     - Attaining store sales goals

     - Hiring/training staff

     - Daily store operations

- Other duties as needed

Here is what we are looking for in candidates:

- 3-5 years experience in retail management/supervisory role

- Experience in inventory management preferred

- Ability to provide exceptional customer service

- Must love Hawai'i! Appreciates locally owned-businesses/made products

- Loves people, outgoing & personable, positive attitude

- Thoughtful, active listener, empathetic

- Dependable

- Curious and creative

- Continuous improvement & performance-based mindsets, driven to grow sales

- Degree in Business preferred or equivalent work experience

- Proven record of achieving sales goals

Status and Schedule:

- Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays

- Store open from 10am-8pm daily
