StarFit Studio is looking for an experienced Assistant Studio Manager / Trainer to join our Vienna team.

This is an ideal opportunity for a strong coach who is ready to take the next step in their career and combine hands-on coaching with leadership, member experience, and studio operations.

You won't be sitting behind a desk all day. This is a hands-on role where you'll continue coaching while becoming a key leader within the studio and a trusted resource for both members and the coaching team.

About the Role

The Assistant Studio Manager / Trainer will support the day-to-day success of the Vienna studio while continuing to coach a regular schedule of small group, personal, and semi-private training sessions.

You'll work closely with studio leadership to create an exceptional member experience, support the coaching team, and help keep the studio running smoothly.

We're looking for someone who is organized, proactive, personable, and ready to take ownership of their role.

What You'll Do

Coaching & Client Experience

• Coach small group, personal, and semi-private training sessions
• Set the standard for coaching quality, energy, and client connection
• Build strong relationships with members and create an exceptional client experience
• Support new client onboarding, consultations, check-ins, and ongoing member engagement
• Help identify opportunities to improve member retention and satisfaction
• Step in to cover coaching sessions when needed

Team Support & Leadership

• Serve as a resource and support system for the coaching team
• Help onboard and train new coaches
• Provide feedback and coaching to trainers when appropriate
• Help ensure trainers are consistently following StarFit coaching standards and protocols
• Support schedule coverage and help address last-minute staffing needs
• Lead by example in professionalism, punctuality, client care, and coaching

Studio Operations

• Assist with day-to-day studio operations
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming studio
• Monitor equipment, inventory, and general studio needs
• Respond to client questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Support studio promotions, communications, and community-building initiatives
• Assist management with ongoing projects and studio initiatives

Sales & Growth

• Conduct consultations and help prospective clients find the right fit for their goals
• Support lead follow-up and membership sales
• Help create a strong sense of community that keeps members engaged
• Identify opportunities to improve the overall member experience and support studio growth

Experience & Qualifications

• Certified Personal Trainer (or equivalent education)
• 2+ years of personal training and/or group fitness coaching experience preferred
• Previous leadership or management experience is a plus
• CPR/AED certification
• Comfortable with scheduling tools, basic spreadsheets, and studio systems
• Experience working with women 40+ is a plus, but not required

Schedule & Expectations

• Full-time position
• Approximately 40 hours per week, including coaching
• Schedule will include a combination of coaching, administrative, and studio support hours
• Flexibility required, including some early mornings, evenings, and weekends
• Ability to step in and cover coaching sessions as needed
• Ability to support the Vienna studio as the needs of the business evolve

Compensation & Benefits
