Assistant Stylist

• Welcoming and servicing the clients of the salon
• Supporting stylists during all services which include shampooing, preparing clients for chemical services, applying color, diffusing, and styling.
• Develop full Ouidad product knowledge for discussion with clients during product consultations
• Maintaining stylist workstations, keeping them fully stocked and organized
• Ensure all guest areas are always neat and clean
• Report inventory
• Projects as assigned by management and lead educators**

• Must have Valid license from New York State of Cosmetology
• Previous Salon experience a plus**
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule; Friday and Saturday are a must
• Should have a passion for all curls / textured hair
• Desire to grow within the industry and Ouidad
• Customer service experience a plus
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to stand a for a prolonged period and be able to lift a maximum of 20lbs

Compensation: $20 per hour
